Hotel Skyler Bookings

Book at the Hotel Skyler with a Syracuse University Discounted Rate

To note when booking rooms at the Hotel Skyler:

  • A valid credit card is required to hold a reservation. If the credit card will not be present at the time of check in, book the reservation as outlined above, and then call or email us and we will send you a Sertifi link to complete. If the reservation(s) should be tax exempt, you just need to note that in the comment/note section.
    • The Sertifi process has the functionality to add multiple guests as well, so if you have multiple bookings, you can add them on one form.
    • You can also select what charges should be covered when completing the form.
  • Hotel Skyler Front Desk: Frontdesk@hotelskyler.com and Blade Turner: Bturner@hotelskyler.com.
  • New York State Tax Exemptions: If the guest is tax exempt, there are only two forms in NYS that can be accepted; ST 119.1 and ST 129.
    • ST 119.1 Form: The guest must use the business card that matches the corporation on the tax form. A copy of the credit card showing the last four digits and corporation must be presented with the form to be tax exempt.
    • ST 129 Form: Guest can utilize any credit card for method of payment, personal or business.
  • Guests are not considered tax exempt until all necessary forms are provided. If provided in advance, please provide a minimum of 10 days prior to the reservation to ensure a smooth arrival experience for the guest.
  • IMPORTANT BOOKING NOTE FOR SALES TAX: Hilton may offer a hotel reservation rate choice “Advance Purchase,” meaning it’s a non-refundable booking that includes taxes. The taxes are NOT refundable. Therefore, DO NOT choose the hotel reservation option.
  • Guest check-in is 3:00 p.m. and guest check-out is 12:00 p.m.
  • A complimentary airport shuttle is available from Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. Upon your arrival (once you have picked up your luggage) into Syracuse Hancock International Airport, please call the hotel at 315.701.2613 to arrange for pick-up. The shuttle driver will meet you by the green shuttle pickup stand. Return trips to the airport can be coordinated at the front desk, depending on the established departure schedule and available seating. For hotel transfers to campus, please check with the front desk as shuttle service is limited and based on availability.
  • Cancellation: Booking terms vary based on the reservation dates. A majority of reservations will allow for cancellation of the reservation if done 24 hours prior to arrival. High demand and special event dates will have alternative cancellation policies. Some special events may be fully guaranteed at the time of booking with no cancellation option. Prior to accepting the booking please ensure you know the policy for your reservation dates.  Your confirmation email will outline the cancellation policy, so be sure to look that over with each booking.
